Saskatchewan! Ready for Growth

Saskatchewan's Accountability Framework guides the government's continuing efforts to implement a managing-for-results approach within executive government, and to improve transparency and accountabiity.  Preparing plans, tracking progress and reporting back will lead to more and better information for managers and decision-makers, enhanced accountability to the public and, ultimately, improve government performance.

Ministries and agencies report back to the public on the actual results compared to their original plans in annual reports.  Information gathered through reporting processes will be used to continually re-evaluate and refine the priorities and initiatives outlined in performance plans.  Annual reports are released following the close of the fiscal year, in July.

Performance plans outline the vision, goals and objectives that Ministries and agencies intend to accomplish over the medium to longer term.
