The five year bonds are redeemable annually or on the death of the bondholder.

Special Notice Regarding Series 16 Bonds That Matured July 15, 2012

Series 16 bonds were redeemed by way of a payment from the Province to the bondholder on July 15, 2012.  Bondholders should not present their certificates to a financial institution for redemption, as the certificates have no cash value.

Series 17 and 18 bonds will be redeemed in the same manner on July 15, 2013 and July 15, 2014 respectively.
