Redeeming your Saskatchewan Savings Bonds

Saskatchewan Savings Bonds are redeemable annually on July 15 at the option of the bondholder.  There is no penalty for redeeming a bond prior to maturity.

To redeem matured Saskatchewan Savings Bonds (Series 1-15), the bondholder(s) must present the bond intact (top and bottom portion) to their financial institution.

Series 16 bonds matured on July 15, 2012.  These bonds were redeemed by means of direct payment to each bondholder. Series 17 bonds will be redeemed in the same manner on July 15, 2013.

To redeem a Series 18 bond in advance of the maturity date, all bondholders named on the front of the bond must complete the "Demand for Redemption" on the back of the bond and present the bond to any credit union, bank, trust company or investment dealer in Saskatchewan on or prior to June 25, 2013 for redemption on July 15, 2013.
