Budget 2012-13 provides a $2.5 million increase to reduce costs for those with diabetes by adding two forms of long-acting insulin to the Drug Plan and expanding the Children’s Insulin Pump Program from age 17 up to 25 years old.

Collected under the authority of The Vehicles Administration Act, 1986.

Basis

Motor vehicle fees are charged on vehicle registrations, permits, licences and other services such as driver record searches.

The fees are collected by SGI.

Rate

Registration fees are determined on the basis of the classification of the vehicle, the gross vehicle weight and the vehicle axle weight.
